Hey Octogenarians – good news! Cognitive scientists – with their findings gracing the cover of magazine ‘Nature’ with beautiful bold caption underneath the mag title, GAME CHANGER , are hoping to usher in a brave new world [in fact brave new world’ is also a title of Aldous Huxley book] in which an 80 year old could come to have a neurological pattern of a stripling of 20. What he has to do for this is just tinker with a video game: drive and identify vital road symbols that flash across the screen and thereby expand attention spans! Simple, what? Looks like a whole new market segment aimed at retirees and beyond is waiting to bubble. For who doesn’t want brain ticking?
