A family musical extravaganza, Wild Swans is a stunning ballet that will be brought to life by Sydney violinist Victoria Jacono-Gilmovich and pianist John Martin on 19th July.
It is a re-imagining of the original score by Australian composer Elena Kats-Chernin of the classic Hans Christian Andersen story.
On at the Utzon Room at the Sydney Opera House for only 2 shows, it is narrated by Australian actress Amanda Muggleton.
It tells the “story of a neglected princess, Elise, and the search for her eleven brothers driven into exile by their spiteful stepmother.
Rescued by eleven magnificent white swans and carried across storm-tossed seas, Elise’s adventures grow ever more magical and mysterious, building to an enthralling climax.”
Don’t miss out on this exemplary musical journey.
